The spring term launches into action with novels in focus. Grade 6 students delve into the world of Narnia, while Grade 7 explore and revel in the autobiography of Roald Dahl, BOY – Tales of Childhood. Grade 8 takes upon the relationship of Lenny and his brother in Of Mice and Men, while the Grade 9 students experience a “slice” of historical tragedy in The Boy With the Striped Pyjamas.

The English Enrichment programme is going strong, with films in focus. Students have familiarized themselves with movie terminology, and have been writing film reviews. The IGCSE for Grade 9 candidates  have also been introduced and integrated into classroom teaching. The National test is drawing near, with the first paper on March 16. Spring is always an exciting term for all!
