Speciallärare

Speciallärarens arbetsområde sprider sig över ett vitt spann, men de huvudsakliga uppgifterna är att stödja elever i behov av extra stöd. Med extra stöd menas bland annat att hjälpa eleven att finna strategier, använda anpassat studiematerial och basträning av olika slag. Specialläraren är någon man kan gå till under vissa perioder och behöver inte vara permanent. Andra uppgifter som specialläraren har är att göra utredningar av elever i syfte att få fram en profil av och på så sätt tydliggöra det grundläggande i elevens problematik.

Special Educator

The Special Educator's work spreads over a wide range, but the main tasks are to support students in need of additional support. Additional support means, among other things, to help the student find strategies, using educational facilities and basic training of various kinds. The Special Educator is someone you can go to at certain periods and does not have to be permanent. Another duty that the Special Educator has is to make inquiries of students in order to obtain a profile of and thereby clarify the essence of the student's problem.
