IES schools have been awarded significant grant monies in participation with the Swedish Cultural Advisory Board “Kulturrådet” to propel our students in the areas of art and culture. The Creative Schools or “Skapande Skola” grant will enable over 1,000 of our students in grades 4 to 9 to further develop in the areas of aesthetics and culture.  Under the guidance of teams of professional and renowned artists, musicians and theater arts experts, students will be engaged in projects in painting, theater, dance and music in our schools in Sundsvall, Karlstad, Örebro, Järfälla, Bromma and Enskede during the academic year.
