Kockduellen with Year 9

Our Year 9 students are preparing to represent IES Falun at the annual Sveriges Kockduellen.

In their Home Economics lessons, our students are creating delicious dishes as they compete against their classmates to represent our school in the competition. In pairs, students reasearch, plan, and cook a dish that they then present to our judges. Staff in our school have the opportunity to sign up to be a judge and test out the tasty meals! They then rate the food in different categories, such as presentation, taste, and consistency, and provide feedback to the student chefs.

It's a really fun competition every year, and we love seeing what our students cook and how they choose to present their meals. We wish all our students good luck, and look forward to seeing how them move forward in the competition!
