IESJ 20 years Celebrating

We celebrated IESJärfälla’s 20th Anniversary last Friday.

10: 30 - 14:30 - Students and mentors celebrated in school. Classes made time capsules, the kitchen staff provided muffins for everyone, a good lunch, and classes had fun activities all day. 

14:30 - 17:00 - We celebrated with PTA,  parents and students in the school yard. Parents and the PTA had baked, bought and donated prizes, and  those who came in the afternoon bought, supported, tried their luck at the lotteries.  There was a tips runda with questions on the staff and history of the school, and at 15:30 there was a show in the auditorium in which some of our young talent performed.

18:00 - 20:00 - We welcomed back former colleagues to meet current colleagues and had light refreshments together. Our current staff could meet some of the staff who had established our school, and our former colleagues could see we are still going strong! 

All in all, it was a great (sweaty) day with students, parents and staff all coming together showing us what our motto "Stronger Together" is all about.
